Comparison

In short: ClearCorrect uses clear, removable aligners (priced at consultation) and is ideal if you have mild-to-moderate crowding or spacing and want a virtually invisible option, while fixed braces apply more force through brackets and wires and are usually the better choice for complex or severe tooth movements. Both straighten your teeth — the right one depends on your case, which your dentist confirms at your consultation.

ClearCorrect priced at consultation: removable, invisible, 5-18 months. Braces: fixed, visible, 12-24 months. For mild-moderate, ClearCorrect equals braces.

ClearCorrect Clear Aligners for Patients

ClearCorrect is a clear aligner system that uses a series of custom-made, removable aligners — a virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth without fixed metal braces. At Station House Dental Care, our ClearCorrect-certified dentists provide the full range of ClearCorrect treatments for patients from across the local area, from mild crowding to complex bite correction. Every case begins with a £40 Smile Consultation, which includes a digital scan and a detailed treatment plan showing exactly how your teeth will move and what your smile will look like at the end.

ClearCorrect treatment typically requires appointments every 6 to 8 weeks, making the journey very manageable across a treatment that usually lasts 6 to 18 months.

How ClearCorrect Works

ClearCorrect uses a series of custom-made, removable clear aligners that fit snugly over your teeth. Each set of aligners is worn for one to two weeks before moving to the next set in the sequence, gradually shifting your teeth into their ideal position. The aligners are made from a medical-grade thermoplastic that is virtually invisible when worn, which makes clear aligners a discreet option for adults who want to straighten their teeth.

Because the aligners are removable, you can eat and drink whatever you like during treatment — simply remove them for meals and brush your teeth before putting them back in. This also means oral hygiene is much easier to maintain compared to fixed braces, where food can trap around brackets and wires. You should aim to wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours per day for the best results.

What Can ClearCorrect Treat?

ClearCorrect can treat a wide range of orthodontic issues including crowded teeth, gaps between teeth, overbite, underbite, crossbite, open bite and generally crooked or misaligned teeth. Our dentists, including Dr Samarth Shetty and Dr Junaid Khalil, will assess your teeth at the consultation and recommend whether ClearCorrect is the right option or whether an alternative approach might give you a better outcome.

ClearCorrect Costs for Patients

ClearCorrect treatment at Station House Dental Care is confirmed at your consultation. The exact cost depends on the complexity of your case and the number of aligners required. The price we quote includes all aligners, all review appointments, and retainers. We offer 0% interest-free finance on treatment plans, allowing you to spread the cost into affordable monthly payments — from £250/month over 10 months at 0%.

Your initial consultation includes a full clinical examination, digital photographs and a discussion of your goals. If you proceed, we take impressions of your teeth and your custom treatment plan is prepared before anything is fitted. Visit our treatment prices page for a full breakdown of costs.
